tempodooloo is the electronic music project by Thijs Bastiaans, drummer for bands like Stefan Schöler Trio, Kasuaris and Exit Bloom.
He debuted with a fully improvised live set at Amsterdam Dance Event in 2016. But exactly that is his comfort zone.
By playing and composing musical ideas in real time, mixed together with bits of jazz, world music and some guilty pleasures, he is taking the listener into his musical universe. Through that approach he is exploring all kinds of corners of electronic music. Gritty grime, trippy ambient, funky techno or deep emotional house are some of the musical output to be expected.
